Getting To Know You

Meeting your celebrant before your ceremony is something lots of people find both  important and reassuring.

We will arrange an informal initial meeting together so that you can decide if I am the right celebrant for your ceremony. Wherever possible, and where distance allows, I find this is best done face-to-face. If you live far from Devon, meeting me can often be arranged to co-incide with you making a visit to your venue.
When we meet you can ask me lots of questions before you decide if I am the right person to conduct your ceremony.

If you choose to invite me to act as your celebrant, I will ask you to pay a deposit and  we will arrange a longer meeting when you can tell me about yourselves and the things that are important to you.
Quite often I have found that people like to continue straight into the longer meeting and I am happy to spend as much time as you have, learning about you to create the ceremony that is right for you.
Together we can talk about the way you have imagined  your ceremony and the things you would like included (or excluded!)

We will agree a time when I  will begin writing your Free Range ceremony script soon after and we will agree a date by which you will receive a your first draft. You will be able to amend this and together we can shape it up to the way you'd like it.

We can have as much further contact as you need by phone and email as well as a final face-to-face meeting and talk-through the day before your ceremony.
